Ep. 86 – Lacking Cohesion

Real Madrid faced off against VfB Stuttgart to open their 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League campaign.

It was a nervy game that saw Los Blancos suffering from the same problems that have been affecting them since the beginning of the season. While the star-studded attack of Vinicius, Mbappé, and Rodrygo shows flashes of breakneck speed, skill, and firepower…it still seems disjointed. Jude Bellingham’s return added a bit more creativity and stability to the midfield but the entire team still lacks cohesion.

The growing pains continue BUT Real Madrid was still able to beat Stuttgart 3-1 and start off their title defense with a win.
