In a week that saw a whirlwind of drama surround Los Blancos, Real Madrid got back to winning ways and defeated Deportivo Alavés 4-1.
Real Madrid were unceremoniously and embarrassingly booted from the Copa Del Rey earlier in the week by 3rd Division CD Alcoyano. The loss to Alcoyano kicked up a whirlwind of drama as Zidane found himself once again in the crosshairs of Madridistas.
Real Madrid crashed out of both the Spanish Super Cup and Copa Del Rey in the span of one week. And Zidane’s unwillingness to give youth players such as the now out on loan Luca Jović and Martin Ødegaard has left Madridistas worrying about the future of Real Madrid and the development of promising youth talent.
