Madrid is Royal White. #RealMadrid defeated crosstown rivals #AtléticoMadrid 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu and now find themselves 8 points clear of 2nd placed Sevilla, as well as 13 and 18 points clear of bitter rivals Atlético and Barcelona, respectively.
Los Blancos are in a roll. A string of 5 difficult matches that started at the end of November has come to an end and Real Madrid has won all 5. The team also has not conceded a goal in their last 4, thanks to a solid performance by the defensive partnership of Eder Militao and David Alaba, the age-defying Luka Modric along with Casemiro and Toni Kroos, and of course the outstanding form of Thibaut Courtois in the net.
In this episode, we discuss Real Madrid’s form this season as compared to last season, Luka Modrić’s incredible form at the age of 36, and of course, UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw that determined that Real Madrid and PSG will face off.
