Real Madrid drew with Getafe 0-0, but that not-so-satisfying result was overshadowed by the announcement of the not-so Super…League.

Real Madrid’s draw versus Getafe, while disappointing, was not entirely unexpected given that Los Blancos were without starters Nacho and Casemiro due to suspension; Mendy and Lucas Vazquez due to injury; and Varane and Valverde due to COVID. In addition, Sergio Ramos, Hazard, and Carvajal have also been out of the squad due to injury.

Needless to say, Real Madrid’s injury woes have continued to affect them throughout the season.

The fact that Real Madrid was able to secure a draw away from home with so many absences and a makeshift defense that included Real Madrid Castilla’s Victor Chust, is a bit of a moral victory considering how difficult and physical Getafe can be.

In this episode, we talk about Getafe but then we end up going off about why the recently announced idea of The Super League is absolutely terrible and why it’s just about greed and nothing else, and is no way, shape, or form an improvement on the Champions League.
