Ep. 77 – Remain Calm

The storm from the weekend loss versus Atlético Madrid has passed and Real Madrid have bounced back from that loss with a win over lowly UD Las Palmas.
But this is Real Madrid, and a loss against our crosstown rivals always stings and gives the more rabid elements of the Real Madrid fanbase a reason to claim that the house needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt from scratch, so to speak.
But it’s still very early in the season, so we need to remain calm (insert the Cristiano Ronaldo “Calma” GIF here). Now, obviously, that doesn’t mean no mistakes were made and that there is no room for criticism but pointing fingers and laying the blame squarely at one person’s feet is also not the way to go.
In this episode, we talk about the loss versus Atlético over the weekend, the win over UD Las Palmas this week, and what we have learned from our first loss of the season. It’s not all doom and gloom, so perk up and ¡Hala Madrid!
